I revamped my whole LiveJournal, basically. Redid my whole profile (much smaller and concise now, I like it a lot more). Has a smaller profile box, followed by myAnimeList banner (which I'm going to redo soon, I think...), my Gamercard stuff, my info from TheBackloggery (basically a website you can record all of your games at that separates them by console and whether you beat them or not... pretty neat) which I'm not done filling out yet, but will be tomorrow. And then my Gryffindor stamp because, fuck yeah I'm a Gryffindor.
Then I got bored and redid my layout too. Pulled another layout from the comm I got my last layout from and, again, swapped the top banner (this time I drew inspiration from the original, so it has the same kind of look). Whipped the banner out in about 10 minutes because it's almost 8am and I'm finally tired. Rah rah insomnia. I'm replacing some of my icons (and not with a scary ferret in bunny ears...), will finish that up tomorrow. So yay! I just felt like overhauling everything.
Speaking of that, I'm dyeing my hair. Doing it a darker reddish brownish color. I went out and bought the dye from CVS today, but I'm one clumsy motherfucker, so I decided to call into the salon tomorrow instead to see if I can get something for Wednesday or Thursday. Either way, it'll be a pretty big change from how it is now. I'm excited though. It'll be darker than Michelle but a little lighter than G-burg's Lauren. lol-using-red-heads-as-a-spectrum
Starting to wrap up Lost Odyssey, finally. I've been sidequest whoring the shit out of it. I broke all of Tolten's seals, found all 99 seeds (and all the special seeds), found all of the invisible treasure chests, played all of the cubic music scores, and have beaten all of the optional bosses except for one (which is actually easier than some of the ones I've taken down, just more out of the way and I was feeling lazy). Only things left to do are to finish the treasure hunts (almost there), do the Backyard competitions, finish collecting all of the skills for my immortals (well on the way - I should have everything that doesn't come from the last areas soon, so I can just play through to complete that)... and then I'll just rape through the end and finish it up. Going to try and complete it by Thursday night, because I really doubt Tommy's going to give a shit about the ending to a game he's never played.
I don't think I'm going to be bringing my 360 games down to the G-burg anymore. I was planning on bringing my profile down on a memory card... but the 512MB memory cards are FIFTY FUCKING DOLLARS. And I was just NOT going to shell out for that. I'm still thinking about jacking my whole HD and packing it REALLY well for the ride down but... that's still up for mental self-debate. I'd love to play some more loveliness on Prince of Persia and be able to play Tales of Vesperia with Max and Michelle, but... if my HD broke in some accident with my luggage I think I would actually weep. Like, for days.
Not only do I have Xbox-transportation issues, I'm really baffled about how in the hell to go about making a cosplay down there. It's easy enough to transfer cloth down there, especially if I bought it this week and packed it... but how the hell can I sew it? Unless someone can find an answer to the "WILL THE THEATER DEPARTMENT LET US USE THEIR SHIIIIIT" question, I'm a little nervous... or unless I could find someone's mom in the area who owned one, like Lauren or Megan, who also need a sewing machine for their cosplays. The claws and stuff is also sketchy... I could probably get Lowe's or Home Depot to send me craft foam and stuff that I need for it, even if shipping would be MURDER, and I would probably use Tommy's knife to do the cutting and just bring some sand paper down to the college with me. And paper mache wouldn't be that hard to make, considering Kennie's is just a short walk away. It's more the painting part of it that bothers me... even if Lowe's/HD would send me paint, where would I paint it? Not in the common room... I'm pretty sure they don't want fumes KILLING PEOPLE in the dorms. I guess I could do it... outside... in the wind... and freezing temps. But then do I just leave it out there...? That's pretty much my biggest roadblock, unless we could take a weekend trip to one of the con-goer's houses for a cosplay-making extravaganza. That's the only way I could see it working out. I guess I'll just have to launch an assault on everyone when we get back to see how we can work everything out. If I can't do Scyther for Katsucon (in which case, I'd DEFINITELY do him for AB and Otakon, in addition to Red XIII), I'll probably just talk my parents into somehow getting my Death Note cosplay down to me and rocking that for the weekend. Bless whoever has ME in their car for the drive to the con.
Getting off of "OH GOD WHAT DO I DO STRESSING ME OUT" topics, me and my dad have just about finished Jigoku Shoujo season 1. We'll have it cleaned off by tomorrow night. Then we'll happily start the third season (oh hi season 2 definitely comes before 1 yup), and probably try to get some traction on Kanon again. KEY shows tend to take a while to actually get rolling for me, but I'm pretty sure that once Kanon hits its stride I'm going to be crippled with tears.
You know what? I've barely read any manga this vacation. Bah. I should just blow through the ones that matter and leave the others for summer. I really don't want to go back in a week. I'm not ready. I'm still feeling anti-social, but happy. Just... not ready for reality to come back and strike me in the side of the head, keeping me up all night falling asleep on my books. Yeah, not ready.
